Sanjida O’Connell is a novelist and a non-fiction writer. Her debut novel, Theory of Mind, won the Betty Trask prize for romantic fiction in 1996, and was followed up by her second novel, Angel Bird, in 1998, The Naked Name of Love in 2009 and Sugar Island in 2011.
Sanjida also writes on science and environmental issues for newspapers and magazines, and is a regular presenter of television wildlife and science documentaries.
